The subregion is safe from the cold northern winds of the region which makes it perfect for vine cultivation. With three locations in our community\, it is easy to find your way to their table.  And\, they continue to expand\, introducing a distillery for vodka and a collab for Ology Coffee.  This session will present how they have done this and a taste of what is to come. \n2:00 pm \nWhites from Willamette Valley Oregon \nJoin Gwen Vercher\, owner of Chateau Le Couer for this tasting of white wines.  Her winery is 100% female owned\, and includes an organic lavender farm.  Tasting will include Chateau Le Coeur-Rousanne-Williamette Valley\, Chateau Le Coeur-Gewurtraminer-Williamette Valley and Capp Heritage Chardonnay-Napa Valley paired with her fabulous lavender chocolates. \n2:30 pm \nItalian Wine Tour and Tasting \nJoin us as we ZOOM with Cantina La Marchesa Winery Lucera in Puglia\, Italy.  Located in Italy’s south east\, this young estate is based in Daunia\, a village to the north of the Puglian region. Their goal is to make quality wines solely from native grape varieties including the Bombino bianco and Falanghina for their white wine\, and Nero di Troia and Montepulciano for their rosé and red wines. Led by proprietor vitners Markia Maggi and Sergio Grasso\, you will be led through a tasting of two of their wines: Il Melograno – Nero di Troia Rose\, and Cacc e Mmitte Italian\, a red blend. \n3:00 pm \nMastering BUBBLY \nA wedding toast\, a baby’s birth\, a ship’s christening: momentous occasions call for Champagne\, the most celebratory of bubbly beverages.
