The folks at Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park are providing free lunch for kids 18 and under on Thursdays as part of #SummerBreakspot.

A new Korean Mexican restaurant called Takko opens Aug. 11 in the Magnolia Grove Shopping Center, the first of two sites in Tallahassee, and will be open daily. The restaurant is based on a concept created by Chef Tomas Lee, who pairs Korean ingredients with Mexican staples like burritos and tacos.

Mimi's Table will be presenting a chef-prepared dinner and wine pairing (with Napa winemaker John Gibson) featuring four courses and coffee or espresso service.

Rustic Eats serves lunch at Tallahassee Nurseries on Thursdays and the truck offers a preorder menu available for pickup on Tuesdays.

Chef Ban is offering a demonstration-style class at The Prepared Table shop to teach attendees how to slice, dice, and chop and other skills.

Sweet Crunch's Melissa Toth and her business partner Tyler Lynn will be cooking batches of their Liège waffles, a beloved Belgian street food classic,  at Ology Coffee's Friday morning pop-up, teaming up with coffee connoisseur, Jason Card (Journeyman Coffee). 

Ology's Coffee Pop-Up will now be adding Saturday to its lineup so stop by for a variety of brews and doughnuts.

The TFP Food Festival features goods from local artisans, music and food.
